Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Construction Manager to lead capital project construction, including pipelines and midstream facilities. You will support Project Managers with pre-construction activities such as cost estimates, route reconnaissance, constructability assessments, and bid development; manage construction staffing, documentation, and inspections.

You will coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensure OSHA/PHMSA compliance, manage cost reporting, and drive schedules

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or equivalent; 8+ years of construction management experience.
• Must have a safe driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• Must carry a cell phone and be subject to 24/7 emergency call-out; extended days/weeks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction of pipelines and midstream facilities and support project teams.
• Provide pre-construction support: cost estimates, route reconnaissance, constructability assessments, and bid processes.
• Plan and coordinate construction activities, staffing, documentation, and RFI reviews.
• Lead contractor bid development, bid reviews, and final selections; ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Operations, Measurement, and external stakeholders to ensure operational fit and compliance.
• Drive construction schedules to meet project objectives and manage costs.
