Job summary

Energy Transfer, a leading energy company, seeks a Construction Manager to oversee capital projects including pipelines and midstream facilities. You will support PMs with pre-construction activities and lead onsite construction, coordinating crews, inspectors, and vendors.

The role requires strong knowledge of industry codes, safety practices, and project scheduling, with 8+ years of experience. Frequent overnight travel (>50%) and a commitment to regulatory compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 8+ years in construction management.
• Proven safe driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Must be available for call-out 24/7 for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project team meetings and kickoff sessions.
• Oversee inspection staff and contract construction personnel daily.
• Support PMs with design, estimating, and scheduling.
• Develop scopes of work ensuring fit and constructability via field investigations.
• Lead bid process, bid package prep, bidder selection.
• Apply lessons learned to improve practices and prevent failures.
• Manage construction and inspection, QA/QC, safety, and documentation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet project objectives and regulatory compliance.
• Drive schedules to meet project objectives.
