Job summary

GAF Materials Corp. is seeking a Project Engineer to maintain excellence in developing, executing, and controlling assigned projects to achieve plant goals.

You will lead capital projects, manage installations, and drive continuous improvement with strong engineering analysis. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 5+ years' experience in manufacturing or roofing/building products, and proficiency in OSHA standards, G Suite, and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 5+ years experience, preferably in manufacturing or roofing/building products.
• Knowledge of OSHA, general industry, and environmental compliance.
• Proficient in written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
• Advanced analytical and organizational skills with close attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute capital projects across the lifecycle, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget.
• Define, design, and manage project installations with cost estimates and capital justifications.
• Provide technical analysis to drive process/equipment improvements and resolve issues.
• Serve as primary resource for design, coordination, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Manage internal maintenance and external contractors during project execution.
