Job summary

RTX seeks a Project Engineer / CAM to lead cross-functional teams on the F135 program. You will develop project plans, maintain schedules and budgets, and coordinate with PMO, CIPTs and IPTLs to ensure milestones and contract deliverables are met.

You will identify risks, manage opportunities, and support earned value reporting and forecast accuracy while ensuring compliance with all standards. Hybrid role; travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• 8 years of engineering experience or 5 years with an advanced degree.
• CAM certified is required or preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource requirements and budgets.
• Track and present progress reports relating to the projects and ensure targets are met.
• Collaborate with PMO, CIPTs and IPTLs for scope planning and monthly contract deliverables.
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities and communicate mitigation plans.
• Support IPTL with monthly earned value reporting and forecasting.
