Job summary

Sundt Enterprise is seeking a Project Engineer to serve as the technical source of information on construction documents, subcontracts, and purchase orders. You will coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, and may assist with Field Engineer training.

The position advances through steps I to Senior, with progression based on experience and performance, and requires strong project management and communication skills across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology and standards.
• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent training and experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Responds to questions about drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and change orders.
• Develops a procurement schedule and integrates it with the project CPM schedule.
• Administers budgeting and cost control to complete the project within approved budgets.
• Maintains as-built contract documents and close-out requirements.
• Participates in takeoffs for concrete, asphalt, earthwork, and utilities as needed.
