Job summary
The Magnum Ice Cream Co. in Covington, TN seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead end-to-end capital projects spanning safety, quality, capacity, automation, and digital manufacturing.
You will drive feasibility, design, construction, commissioning, and handover with strong technical leadership across the project lifecycle. Reporting to the Site Engineering Lead, you will partner with Manufacturing, Safety, Quality, and Maintenance to deliver practical, scalable solutions and shape the site’s
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline.
- 7+ years of engineering experience in food manufacturing or similar industry.
- Proven track record leading capital projects from scope to handover.
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of capital and transformation projects across safety, quality, capacity, and automation.
- Drive execution from feasibility to commissioning, including cost/schedule management.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Safety, Quality, and Supply Chain to translate needs into solutions.
- Develop and implement automation, controls, and digital manufacturing improvements.
- Oversee interfacing with partners to deliver design packages reflecting site constraints and compliance.
- Guide construction, commissioning, and start-up to meet performance targets.
