Job summary
Magnum Ice Cream Company, Covington site, seeks a Project Engineer to lead end-to-end capital projects across safety, quality, capacity, and automation. You will drive concept through design, construction, commissioning, start-up, and handover, partnering with Manufacturing, Safety, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, R&D, and site leadership to deliver measurable improvements.
You will champion governance and standards while shaping the site’s automation roadmap.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/chemical/automation/controls or related engineering field.
- Minimum 7+ years of engineering experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environments.
- Proven record leading capital projects from scope to handover, including budgets and commissioning.
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of capital and transformation projects across safety, quality, capacity and automation.
- Drive feasibility, cost estimation, scheduling, contractor coordination and risk mitigation.
- Partner across Manufacturing, Safety, Quality, Supply Chain and Maintenance to deliver scalable solutions.
- Develop and implement automation, controls and digital manufacturing improvements.
- Support advanced technologies such as robotics and smart instrumentation.
