Job summary

Parker Aerospace seeks a Project Engineer to direct independent R&D efforts advancing aircraft braking system technologies. You will guide scope, schedule, and budget within TRL 1–6 and drive milestones with cross-functional teams in a dynamic aerospace setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering discipline; advanced degree a plus.
• 10+ years of relevant experience leading R&D projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and project management methods.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for leading the project team to achieve its chartered purpose and outcomes.
• Create the project charter, baseline plan, and other project management components.
• Lead TRL reviews and manage technology readiness progress from idea through system validation.
• Provide weekly updates to management and monthly project status reports.
• Coordinate with internal resources and suppliers to deliver on time and within budget.
