Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead Wheel and Brake engineers, guiding all life-cycle activities from R&T to sustaining support. You will coordinate with Business Development, Manufacturing, Sales, Quality, Purchasing, and design teams while developing strong leadership across the department.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering, 7+ years in engineering with aerospace/automotive exposure, and 3+ years in management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 7+ years engineering experience; aerospace or automotive preferred.
• 3+ years in engineering management.
• APQP experience preferred.
• GT&D experience preferred.
• Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience in customer-facing roles is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint; SAP and CRM tools beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Wheel and Brake engineers through full product life cycle (R&T, B&P, NPI, Sustaining).
• Set goals and allocate resources to meet project schedules and business objectives.
• Manage department administration: performance reviews, hiring, training, budgeting.
• Review engineering deliverables for accuracy (specifications, investigations, analyses).
• Maintain AS9100-aligned QMS procedures and documentation.
• Direct project updates and coordinate with other engineering groups.
