Job summary

Lane Construction is seeking an experienced civil engineer to coordinate design firms and evaluate design changes on Design-Build and Bid-Build projects. You will mentor engineers, support resource planning, and step in as project leader when the Project Manager is unavailable.

The role emphasizes collaboration with design partners, value engineering opportunities, and responsibilities across large-scale infrastructure programs in a growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering required.
• 8 years of engineering experience in heavy civil construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage design firms; analyze design changes on Design-Build projects or value engineering opportunities on Bid-Build projects.
• Mentor, coach and evaluate engineers' performance.
• Assist with management of project resource availability and efficiency.
• Provide project decision making and leadership in the absence of a Project Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
