Job summary

Lane Construction is seeking an on-site Construction Engineer in Hampton, VA, to plan, coordinate, and manage on-site activities and schedules while coordinating with subcontractors. A Bachelor’s Degree is required and 5 years of heavy civil construction experience is expected.

The role involves preparing pay estimates, updating CPM schedules, budgeting, change orders, and leading regular review meetings to keep projects on track.

• Prepares monthly pay estimates and updates the Project CPM schedule.
• Prepares, coordinates and updates job budgets, change orders and cost reports for Project Manager's review and approval.
• Prepares and leads regular review meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
