Job summary

The Lane Construction Corporation is seeking an experienced engineer to coordinate design activities, mentor junior staff, and lead projects in the absence of a project manager. The role requires strong design coordination, resource management, and decision-making abilities on large civil infrastructure programs.

With 8 years of heavy civil construction experience, you will contribute to design-build and bid-build projects, guiding teams and ensuring successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 8 years of engineering experience in heavy civil construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and manages design firms as required, analyzes design changes on Design-Build projects or value engineering opportunities on Bid-Build projects.
• Mentors, coaches, provides feedback and evaluates the performance of engineers.
• Assists with management of project resource availability/efficiency.
• Provides project decision making/leadership in the absence of a Project Manager.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
