POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of assigned projects. The Sr Project Engineer establishes criteria for project implementation in collaboration with corporate and manufacturing site personnel, providing guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

The minimum competencies include knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience necessary for successful performance, demonstrated through relevant training or experience.

Knowledge:

• Technical, project management, and customer liaison experience within the organization.
• Experience developing and implementing project control processes.
• Ability to analyze and articulate various business opinions to facilitate informed decisions.
• Business insight to communicate technical information effectively across the organization.

Skills & Abilities:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple discipline projects.

Level of Experience:

• 5-7 years of proven project engineering experience.
• Experience in medical devices is a plus.
• Stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with global teams.
• Proficiency with computers, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project.

Level of Education:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Project Management Certifications are advantageous.

Travel:

• As needed based on project requirements, approximately 3-5 days per month.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to determine engineering and technical needs.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist in developing project plans, budgets, and cost estimates.
• Identify risks and define mitigation strategies proactively.
• Analyze production processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Define testing, verification, and validation strategies with project teams.
• Coordinate across sites for analysis, planning, and execution of project tasks.
• Resolve problems and crisis situations swiftly and effectively.
• Manage external testing resources.
• Ensure compliance with standards, documentation, and best practices.
