Brailsford & Dunlavey (B&D) is seeking a Project Director to join our San Francisco team. This hybrid role leads complex workplace and tenant-improvement projects for a technology client, guiding teams from early planning through occupancy.

You will translate business needs into project objectives, manage budgets and schedules, and maintain high design and client-service standards across multiple concurrent programs.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in real estate development, construction management, or related field.
• Significant experience leading corporate workplace and tenant improvement projects.
• Experience as Owner's Representative or Project Manager for corporate/institutional clients.
• Proven track record delivering projects through planning, design, construction, occupancy.
• Experience managing large, complex workplace programs with multiple projects.
• Experience with technology companies or sophisticated corporate environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client contact and trusted advisor through the project lifecycle.
• Lead workplace, tenant improvement, renovation, relocation, and capital projects from planning to occupancy.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects within a complex corporate environment.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of architects, engineers, contractors, and partners.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, reporting tools, and project controls.
• Translate business/workplace objectives into project objectives and outcomes.
• Ensure design quality, schedule adherence, and budget control across projects.
• Support contract negotiation, procurement, and consultant management.
• Mentor project management staff and contribute to business development.
