Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead large-scale mechanical construction projects across industrial, semiconductor, and data center sectors. You will own project performance from bid through closeout, managing schedule, cost, quality, safety, and client relationships.

This role requires deep mechanical systems knowledge, strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams, and a proven track record delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in project management roles within mechanical construction.
• Experience in industrial, semiconductor, or data center mechanical construction.
• Strong leadership of multi-discipline teams, large budgets, and complex schedules.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, pumps, valves) and applicable codes.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, contracts, changes, and claims.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for mechanical construction projects from planning through closeout.
• Develop and manage schedules, budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics; drive corrective actions.
• Lead engineering, procurement, construction managers, site superintendents, and subcontractors.
• Oversee execution of HVAC, piping, process utilities, and equipment installations.
• Manage client and stakeholder engagement; maintain relationships with owners, engineers, vendors, and authorities.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs, quality standards, codes, and regulations; lead pre-construction planning.
• Negotiate and manage subcontractor and vendor agreements, changes, and claims.
