Job summary

CyberCoders seeks an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout in Texas. You will manage HVAC, plumbing and piping scopes on commercial and industrial sites, coordinating design, procurement, construction and commissioning to deliver projects on time, on budget and to safety standards.

Applicants should have 5+ years in mechanical construction, strong budgeting/scheduling skills, and a client-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing mechanical construction projects (commercial/industrial).
• Budgeting, scheduling and change-order management experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and BIM models.
• OSHA 10/30 or equivalent safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical project planning and execution, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation and risk management.
• Coordinate HVAC, plumbing and piping trades, subcontractors and vendors for timely, compliant work.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings with engineering teams.
• Prepare and manage budgets, cost forecasts, and change orders to maintain profitability.
• Develop project schedules using industry tools and monitor progress with corrective actions.
• Oversee procurement of mechanical equipment and materials to ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct on-site inspections, supervise installation and commissioning, and enforce quality control.
• Ensure compliance with codes, permits, safety regulations and company policies; lead safety meetings.
• Serve as primary client contact for mechanical scope and provide regular status updates.
• Submit progress reports and closeout deliverables including as-built drawings and warranties.
• Mentor project engineers and field teams to promote collaboration and improvement.
