Job summary

Orion is seeking a highly experienced Project Director – Alternative Delivery to provide senior leadership for major marine, heavy civil, transportation, and infrastructure projects across the Pacific Region. Based at the Federal Way, WA office, you will steer projects using alternative delivery methods, guiding design, procurement, and construction from pursuit to closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience managing major heavy civil, marine construction, transportation, industrial, or infrastructure construction projects.
• Experience in senior leadership roles such as Project Director or Senior Project Manager.
• Proven experience leading large, complex projects using alternative delivery methods (DB, PDB, CMAR, EPC).
• Strong knowledge of project planning, design coordination, procurement, construction management, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and accountability for large-scale alternative delivery construction projects.
• Direct project execution to meet safety, quality, financial, schedule, and client satisfaction goals.
• Establish governance structures, performance expectations, and accountability across integrated teams.
• Oversee planning, resource allocation, procurement strategies, sequencing, and execution.
• Lead commercial negotiations, risk management, and client engagement across projects.
