Our client is dedicated to delivering high-impact renewable projects and is seeking a Senior Project Developer to drive the full lifecycle of utility-scale wind developments from concept to construction.

Position: Senior Project Developer

Location: Minnesota preferred, open to candidates West of the Mississippi

Travel: Up to 50%

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage wind project development from site identification through Notice to Proceed (NTP)
• Lead land acquisition efforts and build strong community relationships
• Oversee permitting, environmental assessments, and regulatory compliance
• Develop project strategies, budgets, and schedules to drive timely execution
• Support origination teams with offtake and interconnection strategies
• Collaborate across internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve project goals
• Ensure projects maintain alignment with company and industry standards

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering (or a related field)
• 6+ years’ experience in wind or solar project development, including leading 6–8 projects through to completion
• Strong knowledge of permitting, zoning, and interconnection processes
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Project/Smartsheet, and Google Earth
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%
