I am looking to speak with Senior Project Development Managers across the United States of
America with a strong track record in developing Utility-Scale Solar and Battery Storage projects.
Having previously helped this organisation with their growth across several European Markets, over the past 18 months they have built up a considerable pipeline of Solar and BESS Development opportunities – through a mixture of Greenfield and JV / M&A activity and are now looking to appoint a Senior Project Development Manager to help further grow their pipeline.
The bulk of their pipeline is across the ERCOT, WECC and CAISO markets, so experience in these markets is preferred, however other territories would also be considered / welcomed.
They are looking for an experienced, well connected Development Manager who can take initiative
and actively source both Co-Development, and Greenfield opportunities to grow their portfolio
within the United States.
Location: Washington DC or Remote
Remuneration: Negotiable dependent on experience. Excellent annual bonus scheme of upto 30%.

Responsibilities
• Identify new potential utility-scale projects through various sources including utilizing a data
driven software-based approach to identify land to target.
• Oversee land acquisition efforts. Involvement in direct landowner negotiations, also
managing external land agent partners.
• Represent the company to external/key stakeholders including local/state government
• Manage all aspects of the project development process (land acquisitions, permitting,
environmental studies, leading public hearing processes, creating and maintaining
relationships with local stakeholders, etc).
• Work closely with internal company departments (engineering, finance, legal, operations)
both in the USA and European offices to identify and minimize project risks. Implement
solutions to maximize project value.
• Work with technical team and external consultants to assist with the transmission
interconnection process.
• Create and manage project budgets and schedules. This includes acting as project lead
internally and overseeing external consultants.
