Job summary

Origis Energy seeks a Senior Manager or Director Project Development to drive pipeline growth for utility-scale solar and energy storage. The role reports to the Senior Director of Development and requires strong interconnection, permitting, and project finance insight.

The position is remote with 50-70% travel, offering a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to lead cross-functional development teams across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of renewable energy project development experience for the Senior Project Development Manager position.
• 10+ years of progressive development/origination/solar finance experience for the Director position.
• Strong knowledge of CAISO and WECC markets and solar + storage concepts.
• Experience with interconnection from application through LGIA or equivalent.
• Experience assembling project development teams and managing consultants.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams to set annual goals for executing and siting projects.
• Manage all aspects of solar and storage project development.
• Oversee the project permitting process throughout development cycles.
• Evaluate grids and land constraints to present site opportunities to management.
• Assist in PPA negotiations and maintain customer relations during development.
