Consumers Energy is seeking a Principal Project Development Manager to apply extensive knowledge of management principles across a broad range of assignments and lead large-scale, complex projects with investments often ranging from $50 million to $500 million. Hybrid work arrangement with Michigan-based centers and relocation support where qualified.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in project development and major asset acquisition.
• Experience in senior leadership engagement and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, implementation, monitoring, and governance of business processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members to enhance organizational capability.
• Provide leadership for cross-functional teams and drive alignment across stakeholders.
• Negotiate and develop large-scale contracts and commercial agreements.
• Direct and oversee highly complex project development activities.
