Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. seeks a senior Development Team lead to drive large, complex, high-risk projects from concept through execution in the United States.

You will mentor the team, lead engineering, process and financial tasks, and develop budgets, scopes, and energy savings/ROI models for customer proposals. The role requires extensive experience with building systems design, energy modeling and cross-functional leadership, with frequent executive-level customer interactions and adherence to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
• Fifteen years or more experience in designing/selling building systems, energy modeling, construction, or facility management.
• University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; 8+ years suggested minimum experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering, process or financial tasks during project development and solution design.
• Develop budgets, scope and energy savings/ROI models for large projects (>$2M).
• Mentor Development Team members and lead cross-functional teams on bundled sales.
• Present to C-level or economic clients as needed.
• Maintain customer relationships and ensure adherence to safety and best practices.
