Job summary

Quanta Government Solutions in Baton Rouge, LA, seeks a Senior Cost Specialist to own the numbers behind large energy infrastructure projects across North America. In-office, full-time role with up to 15% domestic travel, you will develop budgets, monitor costs, forecast final costs, and provide actionable insights to Project Managers.

You will work with Project Managers and Operations leaders to ensure cost control, schedule alignment, and effective cost-recovery plans while applying EVM

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in project cost controls, cost management, or related field.
• Hands-on experience developing, controlling, planning, and forecasting project budgets.
• Strong understanding of actuals vs. budget, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost-to-complete.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and control project budgets and cost baselines.
• Track actual costs, commitments, forecasts, and cost trends.
• Perform EAC/ETC, variance, and cost-to-complete analyses.
