Job summary

KBR is seeking a Sr. Specialist - Project Controls to lead financial planning, forecasting, and cost control for critical infrastructure and defense programs. The role emphasizes budgeting, EAC, variance analysis, and reporting in a remote work environment with travel up to 20%.

You will manage WBS, forecast finances, and collaborate with program management to ensure compliant, timely project delivery. Strong knowledge of FAR/CAS and GAAP is required.

Qualifications

• Four years of applicable experience in project controls or financial management.
• Knowledge of complex program management concepts (budgets, estimates to complete, schedules).
• Proficiency with U.S. GAAP and government contracting processes (FAR/CAS).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel.
• Ability to develop price/cost estimates using complex pricing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and control WBS and lead project setup for cost charging and revenue recognition.
• Forecast, budget, analyze, and report on project performance and schedules.
• Monitor funding, baselines, and changes; manage estimates to complete and variances.
• Maximize cash flow, review invoices, and reconcile unbilled balances.
• Oversee subcontractor costs and prepare monthly accruals.
• Prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
