Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Project Controls Specialist, Associate for a remote role, ideally in the Northern Virginia area, with responsibilities spanning planning, tracking, and reporting to align cost, schedule, and performance. You'll transform financial data into actionable insights for timely decisions and course corrections while collaborating with Program Managers and cross-functional teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related experience, with proficiency in Excel,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or Accounting and 3+ years of related work experience.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Forecasting Tools and Costpoint.

Responsibilities

• Program life cycle activities from project setup, maintenance, invoicing support, accruals, financial monthly projections and month-end close.
• Collaborate with Program manager and other functional departments to develop and monitor forecasts and ensure financial objectives are achieved.
• Assist in developing and implementing cost control for multiple projects and contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M).
• Help prepare Quarterly Deep Dive, AOP, and monthly forecast.
• Develop and maintain Estimates at Completion (EAC) and assist in ETC projections.
• Provide reporting and variance analysis on Revenue, Profit, cash backlog and risk and opportunities.
