Job summary

ESPO Corporation is seeking a Staff Project Controls Specialist to join our team in Albuquerque, NM or Kansas City, MO for a 12 month contract. The role leads project controls, scheduling, cost control, and forecasting across multiple projects within the electrical T&D domain.

Candidates must have Primavera P6 experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage a high volume of schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in engineering, construction management or related field and 3 years of direct project controls experience.
• Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead project controls processes with the internal project management team to execute deliverables within budget and schedule.
• Ensure project set-up in the Enterprise Planning & Controls software.
• Analyze data, run reports, and create WBS.
• Develop and maintain scheduling, cost reports, cash flows and forecasts for multiple projects.
• Interface with PM Team and Accounting to review costs and support audits.
• Review change orders and develop cash flow reports.
• Monitor resource loading and assign logic in schedules.
• Perform earned value management and progress measurement.
