Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Lead Project Controls, Planning & Scheduling to guide the Transmission Project Controls Planning & Scheduling team. This role develops baseline schedules, directs scheduling for capital projects, and supports monthly performance tracking, with a focus on forecast accuracy and risk management.

The position leads a regional team across Transmission, Engineering, and related functions, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent degree or experience desired.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience including a minimum of five (5) years’ experience supervising and/or leading dynamic and cross functional teams supporting project execution, process improvements and group facilitation.
• Demonstrated experience as an Oracle Primavera P6 advanced user, administrator, and trainer preferred.
• Experience in Electrical Transmission and Distribution planning and scheduling preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) desirable.
• Oracle Primavera P6 certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Builds and leads a dynamic, cohesive team to meet the department and strategic needs of Eversource.
• Produces project schedules, specialized cost reports and development and utilization of performance tools.
• Responsible for working closely with Transmission and Engineering leaders to develop and maintain an accurate, credible schedule and status of assigned activities.
• Overseeing the production of required schedule reports that identify schedule variances and participate in the change control process and validation of the revised project baseline.
• Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
