CDM Smith is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across the U.S. You will develop cost and schedule baselines, collect monthly data, analyze variances, and assist in forecasting with earned value management.

You will collaborate with project teams, ensure compliance with internal procedures, and support financial controls and reporting. Travel may be required; strong Primavera P6 and EcoSys skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.

Responsibilities

• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs and updates requirements.
• Generates and analyzes earned value reports for projects and discusses observations with the project manager.
• Monitors progress of project deliverables and actual expenditures versus forecasts.
• Provides guidance and training to junior staff; may supervise junior engineers on project work.
