Job summary

Hill International in San Diego, CA is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead the development of WBS structures, budgets, schedules, and KPI reporting. You will guide project teams, manage change orders, and oversee subconsultant invoices and budgets across major projects.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in engineering/project controls with CCP or PMI certification (or equivalent) and strong Excel/PMIS skills.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 10 years of increasing responsibility in engineering/project controls/program management.
• Certification in CCP or PMI (CAPM/PMP) or equivalent is required or strongly preferred.
• Experience with PMIS and dashboards from multiple data sources is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to develop WBS structures, budgets, schedules, resource forecasts, risk registers, and reporting.
• Lead project controls meetings and support management with issue resolution.
• Prepare and analyze financial and schedule data including EVM, budget trends, and KPI reporting.
