Hill International is seeking a Project Manager I in San Diego, CA. The role leads planning and execution of small-scale projects, collaborates with departments and vendors, and manages budgets and resources. It requires a BS degree and 3–5 years of PM experience in construction, with PMP/Agile preferred. The position is hybrid in San Diego.

The salary range is $110,000–$120,000, with benefits including comprehensive health options and retirement plans. Local candidates only.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent field.
• 3-5 years of direct project management experience on construction projects (Electrical/Gas Substation, Compressor, Transmission, Distribution, IT, or Civil).
• PMP preferred; Agile or other Program Management certifications or demonstrated experience with customer approval.
• Must be able to assess the potential financial impact of a project to the Company.
• Must review complex problems and propose innovative solutions.
• Must build solid business cases/project justifications.
• Must be local to San Diego, CA and willing to work a hybrid schedule.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership for the planning, development, and implementation of small scale, low-complexity business and technology projects.
• Collaborate with internal departments, stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and vendors to define requirements and present solutions.
• Responsible for budget and resource planning.
• Single point of contact for all economic and regulatory issues for the assigned projects.
• Develop and maintain project parameters for project requirements.
• Manage and coordinate all activities leading to the successful completion of large-scale, major strategic projects including scoping, timelines, cost estimates, and design.
• Build business cases and project justifications.
