Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Project Controls Manager to join the Project Controls team in Boston, Massachusetts. You will lead cost control, budgeting, and schedule coordination for large-scale projects, developing cost breakdown structures and baselines.

You will implement cost control procedures, analyze variances, and collaborate with engineering/design teams to optimize costs. Strong BI reporting, PMIS experience, and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• 10 years of combined field and office project controls experience on large-scale projects.
• Extensive knowledge of cost estimating methodologies, cost control techniques, and schedule management.
• Reporting & BI Tools: Experience in Power BI and/or Tableau; Excel proficiency.
• PMIS: Experience with Primavera Unifier, e-Builder, Procore or similar.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety, and coordination of subcontractors and internal staff.
• Develop the project cost breakdown structure and baseline budget.
• Develop and implement cost control procedures to track expenses and analyze variances.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize project costs.
• Establish methods to measure progress and use performance data to assess cost performance.
• Communicate project status and cost/schedule updates to stakeholders.
• Provide monthly reports and maintain financial reports for project subtasks.
