Job summary

Jacobs, based in the Midwest, seeks a Project Controls Manager to lead budget, forecasting, and scheduling for a major program. You will oversee a team of project controls professionals across cost, planning, and reporting, partnering with Operations and the client.

This hybrid role requires 15 years of progressive project controls experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and expertise in Primavera P6. Travel to client sites is expected; Minnesota relocation may be preferred.

Qualifications

• Fifteen years of progressive project controls experience on large projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, PM, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Experience in cost engineering functions: estimating, cost control, change management, risk analysis.
• Experience building Primavera P6 cost-loaded and resource-loaded schedules.

Responsibilities

• Point of contact for Operations, PMs, Project Director and client for Project Controls services.
• Ensure alignment between project services, design, and construction teams to support program needs.
• Develop and maintain a resource-loaded P6 master schedule.
• Monitor, analyze, and report progress, cost, and schedule variances and forecasts.
• Manage the effort to support scheduling, cost control, estimation, and PMIS.
