Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Project Controls Professional to lead cost controls across a portfolio of electronics projects. You will report to the Phoenix, AZ or Portland, OR offices, interfacing with multiple disciplines to drive cost efficiency and risk mitigation.

The role requires a strong background in cost engineering, dashboards, and project controls, with a hybrid work policy supporting collaboration across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related field.
• At least 6 years of cost controls experience.
• Experience coordinating and executing project issues across multiple groups.
• Experience in cost engineering functions: cost estimating, control, change management, cost analysis.
• Experience in project controls and financial aspects of projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform the controls for the Program and all associated projects and manage the overall program cost controls and reporting function.
• Interface with project team members across Engineering, Construction, Procurement, IT, Accounting, Economics and Finance to ensure cost compliance and efficiency.
• Provide status reports and project analyses to management and clients.
• Identify problems and coordinate with teams to ensure cost requirements are met.
• Prepare cost controls plans, reports, and financial summaries for project management.
