Job summary

EPI Power, a Weitz Company subsidiary, is hiring a Project Safety Manager in Des Moines, IA to lead site safety and uphold company safety standards for our data-center projects. You’ll drive training, audits, and incident investigations across the project team.

This role requires 6 days per week (58 hours) and active OSHA 30 certification. Join a safety-first culture focused on safe, on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Excellent judgement and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build relationships and coach teams.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Participate in creation of the project safety plan.
• Track and trend project safety performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Verify adherence to safety management processes.
• Draft letters, issue safety violations, and meet with managers as needed.
• Facilitate project safety committees and preconstruction meetings.
• Conduct or facilitate project-wide safety training.
• Coordinate and communicate safety activities with the Project Manager.
