Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls to lead enterprise project controls across a large portfolio of municipal, industrial, and federal projects. You will define governance, standards, and processes to deliver projects safely, profitably, and predictably.

The role drives digital transformation by modernizing controls platforms, workflows, reporting, automation, and predictive insights across the enterprise, while leading a geographically distributed team of schedulers, cost

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
15+ years of related experience.
PMP or PgM certification required.

Responsibilities

Define the enterprise project controls strategy, standards, methodologies, and governance model.
Establish project controls approaches for design-build and other delivery models.
Strengthen budgeting, earned value management, forecasting, and scheduling.
Develop leading indicators and dashboards for margin, backlog, cash flow, and delivery risk.
Lead modernization of project controls platforms, data, and workflows with automation and AI forecasting.
Establish scalable standards for document management and data integrity.
Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve client outcomes.
Build career paths and a strong enterprise project controls community.
