Job summary

MasTec Power Deliver is seeking an experienced Sr. Project Controls Manager to join our data center focused division within the Power Delivery segment.

You will partner with Operations, Project Management and Scheduling to ensure accurate forecasting, robust cost controls and strong financial performance across complex infrastructure projects. Lead a small team of controls professionals, drive best-practice processes, and deliver clear, actionable insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, construction management or finance.
• 10+ years in project controls, project finance, cost control or construction accounting.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with Operations, Project Management, Scheduling, Finance and Accounting.
• Experience supporting large EPC, utility, transmission, distribution, data center, industrial or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead and develop a team of project controls professionals.
• Oversee project financial controls including WIP, billing, cost coding and revenue recognition.
• Partner with Operations, Project Management, Scheduling and Procurement to integrate cost performance.
• Perform contract review, project setup, risk assessment and contingency governance.
• Develop reliable forecasts (ETC, EAC) and track cash flow and margins.
• Prepare project controls reporting and dashboards for leadership.
• Ensure adherence to financial controls and company policies.
