Job summary

MasTec is seeking a Sr. Project Controls Manager to lead a team of project controls professionals for the Commercial and Industrial data center initiatives within the Power Delivery segment.

Responsibilities include overseeing financial controls, forecasting, risk assessment, and collaboration across Operations, Scheduling, and Finance to ensure profitability and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in project controls, project finance, cost control, or construction accounting.
• Strong collaboration and communication with Operations, Project Management, Scheduling, Finance, and Accounting.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with large-scale EPC, utility, data center, industrial, or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, coach, and develop a team of up to 4 project controls professionals.
• Oversee project financial controls including WIP, billing, accruals, revenue recognition, and cost management.
• Integrate cost performance, change activity, productivity, schedule progress, and forecast assumptions.
• Perform contract review, risk assessment, and contingency governance for disciplined execution.
• Develop and maintain reliable project forecasts (ETC, EAC, margin, cash flow).
• Prepare project controls reporting, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
