Job summary

MasTec Power Deliver is actively seeking a Sr. Project Controls Manager to lead a team of project controls professionals and partner with Operations, Project Management, Scheduling, and Finance on data-driven decision making across large infrastructure projects.

The role emphasizes cost controls, forecasting, and revenue recognition within the power delivery segment. You will report to the Finance Lead and drive consistency in forecasting methodologies, controls, and financial processes for the

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management or finance.
Understanding of data-driven decision making and financial modeling
Basic knowledge of GAAP, accounting processes, and controls
Minimum of 10 years in project controls, project finance, cost control, or construction accounting
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
Experience with large EPC, utility, data center, industrial projects
Experience leading project controls personnel preferred

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of up to 4 project controls professionals.
Oversee project financial controls including WIP, billing, accruals, revenue recognition, and cost management.
Integrate cost performance, change activity, productivity, and schedule progress with operations.
Perform contract reviews, risk assessments, and contingency governance.
Develop reliable forecasts (ETC, EAC) and cash flow analyses.
Prepare dashboards and presentations for leadership.
