Job summary

STRIKE is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead cost management, forecasting, scheduling, and risk oversight across multiple construction projects. You will drive standardized controls processes, mentor a team, and partner with Operations, Estimating, and Accounting to ensure accurate financial performance and proactive risk mitigation.

The role emphasizes robust financial reporting, WIP and PSR reviews, and continuous improvement of tools and practices used to manage project performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in construction project controls, cost management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project controls across projects and business units with standardized processes.
• Identify risks, evaluate performance, and develop corrective action plans.
• Lead monthly WIP reviews and PSRs, analyze profitability and cost variances.
• Monitor labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor costs for trends.
• Review billing performance and cash flow impacts.
• Support scheduling, milestone tracking, and critical path evaluation.
• Escalate significant risks to leadership with actionable recommendations.
• Assist handoffs from Estimating to Operations and oversee project closeout.
