Stantec is seeking a Project Controls Supervisor to lead the Project Controls team across Energy & Resources, focusing on robust planning, scheduling, cost control, and reporting. The role collaborates with project managers and clients to deliver reliable performance insights that drive successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Completion of a diploma or degree in a certified project management program is highly desirable.
• Degree in engineering or technical diploma is considered an asset.
• Minimum 10+ years of project controls experience in an engineering management or EPC/EPCM environment, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Project Controls team (Cost and Schedule) with issue resolution and decision making.
• Lead Project Controls teams through challenging project assignments and complex client environments.
• Ensure staffing with appropriate Project Controls resources to meet objectives.
• Support project setup with scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
• Communicate and monitor KPI goals, constraints, and priorities.
• Support recruiting talent and staff mix planning.
• Develop and maintain project controls procedures and systems.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, earned value, and variance analysis.
• Prepare timely project controls reports and client deliverables.
• Collaborate with project managers for reliable cost and schedule data.
