Job summary

Bowman Consulting is seeking a Project Control Specialist V (Oil & Gas) in Houston, TX. You will lead project controls activities across cost control, scheduling, and reporting, ensuring alignment with control accounts and changes in scope.

The role requires strong technical skills in cost forecasting, earned value, and data analysis, with the ability to guide a team and coordinate with Project Managers.

Qualifications

• Seven or more (7+) years of experience in project controls or cost management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, or Technical preferred.
• Proficient in project controls, cost forecasting, and schedule integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Project Controls processes and procedures.
• Consolidate cost and schedule data sources aligned with WBS/Control Account levels.
• Support Project Managers with estimate creation and cost reporting.
• Create quantity take-offs and unit rate tables for cost estimates.
• Lead management of change workflow and status reporting.
• Review and incorporate external supplier/contractor cost reports into EV calculations.
• Prepare detailed cost reports with input from the Project Team.
• Provide schedule updates and participate in risk assessment workshops.
• Develop progress measurement reporting integrated with the schedule.
• Lead a team of Project Controls Specialists and Schedulers on projects.
