Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Project Controls Specialist III (Oil & Gas) to join the team in Houston, TX. You will provide technical and non-technical support within the project execution team for small to mid-sized projects, ensuring accurate cost and schedule data, risk input, and timely reporting.

The role emphasizes coordinating with Project Managers, maintaining baselines, and delivering detailed cost and earned value reports while promoting clear communication across the project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business or Technical preferred.
• 4–7 years of experience.
• Experience with Omega 365 Pims and Primavera P6 preferred.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and analytical skills.
• High level of personal integrity.
• Strong relationship capabilities.
• Self-starter with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and review of Project Controls processes and procedures.
• Consolidate, organize, and integrate various cost and schedule data sources to align with WBS/Control Account levels.
• Support Project Managers with estimate creation and documentation/version control.
• Ensure changes to cost/schedule baselines are DOA approved prior to execution.
• Support risk assessment workshops and provide data for cost reports.
• Monitor progress and performance against the project plan.
• Prepare and issue detailed cost reports and project reports for contractual obligations.
• Identify cost/schedule irregularities and suggest corrective actions.
