Job summary

Energy Transfer LP seeks an entry- to mid-level Engineer to support crude oil and water gathering project estimates. You will work with estimators, project managers, and field personnel to interpret drawings, define scopes, assess constructability, and prepare cost estimates.

You will develop technical knowledge of oil and gas facilities, construction methods, and project controls while contributing to capital project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; internship or co-op preferred.
• 0–3 years experience for Associate Engineer level; 3–6 years for Engineer; 6–10 years for Senior Engineer.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop complete project estimates from conceptual scopes.
• Analyze scopes and drawings for potential gaps and constructability.
• Prepare labor build-ups using rates, hours, and crew data.
• Coordinate with project team to validate installation methods and labor assumptions.
• Maintain cost data, unit rates, and historical information.
• Provide organized estimate files and supporting documentation.
