Job summary

Colonial Pipeline is seeking a Senior Project Controls Analyst to lead financial controls and reporting across a large project portfolio. You will partner with project managers and finance to forecast costs, monitor budgets, and provide governance insights that drive decision making.

The role emphasizes strong analytics, stakeholder collaboration, and process improvements within a fast‑paced energy environment. A bachelor's degree and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
• Ideally 10+ years of analytical experience, preferably in construction management, finance, or accounting.
• Ideally 8+ years’ experience of project financial management on projects of $5MM+.
• Ideally 5+ years of fiscal responsibility for projects $10MM+ – Oil & Gas industry experience required.
• PMP certification (preferred but not required).
• Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with project management and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of financial controls for large-scale projects.
• Monitor budgets, perform monthly budget vs. actual analyses, develop EAC/ETC forecasts, identify financial risks, manage accruals, reconciliations, payroll allocations, close-out activities and ensure proper financial treatment of estimates, purchases, and material management.
• Track and report project performance, providing real-time insights across the portfolio.
