CDM Smith is excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across various locations in the U.S. You will develop schedule and cost baselines, collect and analyze monthly data, and produce standardized reports for stakeholders, ensuring risk reserves are maintained.

The role requires strong knowledge of project management, earned value management, and financial forecasting, with hands-on use of Primavera P6 and EcoSys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Experience with earned value management (EVM) and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validates project costs.
• Generates earned value and performance reports for a portfolio of projects.
• Ensures compliance with internal procedures and government regulations and updates schedules.
• Provides technical guidance and mentors junior staff; may supervise junior engineers.
• Supports use of Primavera P6 and EcoSys for project controls.
