Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across the U.S. You will develop complex schedule and cost baselines, analyze monthly data, identify variances, and help with forecasts and risk reserves.

You’ll work with project teams, ensure compliance with procedures, mentor junior staff, and deliver client and internal reports. Domestic and international travel up to 40% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• At least five years of related experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for federal contracts.
• Willingness to travel 20%–40% for projects.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated critical path schedules for major projects.
• Analyze schedule progress, costs, and resource needs against baselines.
• Produce client and internal status reports and forecasts.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and support project teams.
