Jacobs in the Raleigh area is seeking a seasoned Project Controls professional with 7+ years in cost engineering and project controls to support our Program Management Team.

You will forecast costs, maintain budgets, produce cost reports, and manage subcontractor invoicing for engineering and capital projects, collaborating with project managers and leadership. This onsite role offers a base salary between 102,900 and 175,000 USD plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cost engineering, project controls, or related field.
• Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams with accountability.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting for engineering or capital projects.
• Strong analytical skills to identify trends and provide recommendations.
• Excellent presentation skills to engage leadership and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables).
• Experience with EcoSys, Primavera Unifier, SAP, Oracle or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide solid forecasting, cost engineering, reporting, and subcontractor invoicing.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and cost reports.
• Lead cost control efforts and drive actionable insights for leadership.
