Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support construction projects across the U.S. You will develop complex schedule and cost baselines, analyze variances, and ensure accurate forecasts and risk reserves are integrated into financial planning.

You will collaborate with project teams and management to produce standard reports, support internal controls, and apply earned value management techniques across a portfolio of programs. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; 5 years related experience may substitute.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts.
• Performs earned value management and variance analysis.
• Maintains financial controls, forecasts and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Manages data collection from project teams and updates cost/schedule baselines.
• Provides guidance and training to junior staff and may supervise junior engineers.
