Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across the U.S. You will develop schedule and cost baselines, collect monthly data, and ensure risk reserves are integrated into forecasts while communicating through standard reports.

You will work with project teams, manage complex schedules with Primavera P6 and EcoSys, perform earned value analyses, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent experience may substitute for degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Experience managing service projects desirable.
• Extensive Earned Value Management (EVM) experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulations.
• Gather project progress information and update moderate to high complexity projects.
• Develop time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validate costs.
• Generate and analyze earned value reports and discuss with project manager.
• Mentor junior staff and develop them for future growth.
