Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across the U.S. You will develop schedules and cost baselines, analyze monthly data, and implement financial controls with a focus on Earned Value Management.

You will collaborate with project teams and management, ensuring accurate forecasts, risk assessments, and reporting. Domestic/international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of project management methodology including budget development, project planning, control and assurance methodologies
• Excellent knowledge of project goals, drivers, strategies, risks and opportunities and related finance concepts
• Ability to plan and manage detailed execution of a construction project using schedules and resource plans
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and EcoSys for project tracking and reporting

Responsibilities

• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts and validates costs
• Generates earned value reports and conducts variance analysis for project portfolios
• Maintains risk reserves and integrates into forecasts and reports
• Documents impact of changes on cost/schedule baselines and ensures compliance with procedures
